When I was a kid, I could never beat Smokey the Dragon in his second, awful race. So I never really got the chance to fight Wizpig, do all the trophy races, and unlock a whole new set of racetracks in Future Fun Land. It wasn’t until later that I was introduced to the stage songs I’d missed out on, which encouraged me to go back and unlock them.
